Cafe VOSINO

Celebrating the hard work and passion of the Sooke Community Investment Cooperative, we welcome a new chapter in the Sooke community with the opening of Cafe VOSINO. A strong logo and branding help contribute to the success of this new venture. The goal is to create a brand the community can rally behind and be proud of. Below you will find three distinct logo options that pay respect to the past establishment and paves the way for this exciting new adventure.

Option One

This west coast contemporary style logo has plenty of character and charisma just like Sooke. A natural, organic colour palette and a coffee bean displaying a tree silhouette within its negative space showcase the natural landscape. The icon and font combination styling also plays homage to the old school Canadian National Parks emblems.

Option Two

This logo plays off the history of VOSINO and the original Sooke postal code with a modern spin on a traditional signpost. This, combined with the natural colour palette and the tree within the ‘A’ of Cafe, tell a story of Sooke, “where the rainforest meets the sea.” This logo is all-encompassing and can easily be adapted to different marketing materials as a full-colour logo or a black stamp.

Option Three

This final logo is the most modern of the three and like the others also tells a story of Sooke and the local landscape. Within the mug icon showcases an abstract shoreline with a wave and tree. The mug shape itself also is reminiscent of a shield which is empowering and gives a sense of tradition. Finally, a subtle addition to the ‘I’ in VOSINO is a nod to the 1 of the old postal code.
